Oasis is influental rock band from England formed in Manchester in 1991. Initially using the name The Rain.After change the name to Oasis, the members signed to indie record label Creation Records and afterwards released their debut album Definitely Maybe in 1994 .Oasis heavily influenced by The Beatles, an effect often referred to as an "obsession" by the British media.
In August 2009, Noel Gallagher announced his departure from Oasis after a backstage fight with Liam. The remaining members of Oasis, led by Liam Gallagher, decided to continue their work together under the name Beady Eye, while Noel formed a solo project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Bird.
