Bon Jovi is a hard rock band from New Jersey formed in 1983.In 1984 and 1985, Bon Jovi released two albums were quite successful. However, they achieved much success and acclaim with their next album called Slippery When Wet in 1986 and New Jersey in 1988. The success of these two albums the band launched into a global star.
Bon Jovi has expanded its horizons by combining rock music with pop, country and adult contemporary music. The band won a Grammy in 2006.
In the past 23 years, Bon Jovi has sold over 120 million albums worldwide with 34 million albums in the U.S. alone.
