Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco , California . The band was originally formed under the name Faith No Man , in 1981 .Billy Gould , Roddy Bottum and Mike Bordin is the longest remaining members of the band , who has been involved with Faith No More from the outset . The band went through several lineup changes throughout their career .
Faith No More officially disbanded in April 1998 . Then they reunite , along with all members of their latest release Album of the Year 1997.
On March 30, 2014 - Gould confirmed that the band will play their first show in two years on the date of July 4, 2014 in Hyde Park , London .
